FAQs

Is the gym open to the public?

Yes, we are open!  Membership is required.  We have a short application and liability waiver that must be filled out to begin your membership.

Can I just drop in and use the gym and/or book a personal one-on-one training session?

Yes, we have a daily and/or weekly “Drop In” rate.  We also offer One-on-One training sessions.  See fees for more information.

Do you sell boxing gear to the public?

Yes, we sell boxing gloves, hand wraps, headgear and more.  We also sell “Johnny Tocco” t-shirts and other memorabilia.

How much does it cost to become a member of the gym and is training included?

Monthly membership to the gym is $25 per month if you are under age 21 and $50 per month if you are 21 and over. Training is separate but on average trainers charge $75 per month for youth members and $100 per month for adult members. Trainers will work with you 5-6 days per week for their fee and will train you to compete whether you choose to ever get in the ring or not.

How long is a training session?

A training session typically lasts between an hour to an hour and a half. Your training time will be arranged directly with your coach/trainer.

Can I sign up for the gym and workout on my own without a trainer?

If you have prior boxing experience, yes, you are able to come in and workout on your own. However, if you do not have boxing experience, you must have a trainer. We do not have a variety of fitness equipment for fitness exercise, we are strictly boxing and you will need a coach/trainer to facilitate use of the gym and equipment.

Do you have classes?

What will I need to start?

For members under 18 years old, you will need a parent or legal guardian to sign you up. If you are over 18 years old, you will need proof of ID to sign up. To start, you will need your monthly gym dues and you will need to fill out our membership application and liability waiver. Training fees are also required up front and are paid directly to the trainer.
Wear comfortable gym clothes and shoes and you will need your own hand wraps (bring your own or you can purchase a pair from the gym $7-$10). We have a limited selection of gloves you can borrow on a first come first serve basis until you are able purchase your own. For your convenience, boxing gear is sold at the gym.

Is the gym available for rent?

Yes, the gym is available for rent for video/photo shoots, private events/parties etc. Starting price is $100 per hour (2 hour minimum). We are also available for extended (weekly/monthly) rent to private training camps, personal trainers etc. Please call for prices for extended rental of the gym.
